ENGE STORE – Det høstes nå, LP
Autumnal, drifting, dark and dreamy – the sonic landscapes created by Norwegian folk-act Enge Store are full of longing and bittersweet nostalgia. Eisenwald has the pleasure to release the debut-record „Det høstes nå“, a collection of songs created over five years.
The Oslo-based trio’s name, translating into „Vast meadows”, is indeed indicative of the band’s aspiration: to open up a dreamy topography of haunted places and remnants of things lost. Plucked guitars, pulsating percussion, aching strings, and mournful choirs are signature elements in Enge Store‘s channeling of distant voices.
Packaging: Solid sleeve on reverse board (rough), heavy stock insert, black paper inner sleeve with a protective layer, designed download card for the digital album.
